1984-1991年就读于北京师范大学心理学部(原心理学系),获本科及教育心理学硕士学位。1991年起任教于3200威尼斯vip(原心理学系),后师从王甦先生在职学习认知心理学,于2000年获认知心理学博士。2001年后,曾多次前往德国慕尼黑大学(LMU)、德国联邦物理技术研究院(PTB)及波兰Nencki实验生物学研究所从事人机界面工程、系统神经科学及认知科学方向的合作研究。近年来,研究兴趣主要集中在时间知觉、空间注意和神经美学三个领域。在时间加工领域,通过一项跨文化研究首次揭示了语言经验对人的时序辨别能力的反向调制,打破了传统的时间加工与语言能力之间的单向联系。在空间注意领域,通过十余年的行为、EEG、MEG及fMRI研究,发现并提出了空间注意在中央和外周视野的功能性分离,该系列成果应邀于2015年以大会主旨报告(Keynote Lecture)的形式在意大利罗马召开的第六届国际空间认知大会上与国际同行进行了广泛交流。此外,曾应邀担任ERC(European Research Council)外部评审专家、ICSC2018国际会议Scientific Committee成员、Frontiers in Psychology客座副主编、PsyCh Journal短讯编辑等。目前,已在Neuroscience & Biobehavioral Reviews、Cognition、Cognitive Processing、 Experimental Psychology、NeuroImage等学术刊物发表文章约70篇。

  研究方向为三个相互关联的研究领域:视觉空间注意、时间知觉/时间信息加工、神经美学。三个方向的研究均在国际合作的框架下进行。研究方法包括行为实验、fMRI、ERP和MEG等神经成像技术。 在注意领域,主要关注不同视野区域的注意功能差异;在时间领域,主要关注高频(几十毫秒)和低频(几秒)时间窗的时间信息加工及日节律;在神经美学领域,主要关注绘画、音乐和诗歌中的空间和时间加工机制。
